Product description of Segment Ball Valve
Segment ball valve is a fixed ball valve, which is also a single seat sealed ball valve. Its regulating performance is among the ball valves. The flow characteristics of V-shaped regulating ball valve are equal percentage, and the adjustable ratio is 100:1. Its V-shaped notch has shear effect with the metal valve seat. The V-shaped ball valve is especially suitable for media containing fiber, small solid particles, slurry and so on.
Features of Segment Ball Valve
1. Integral structure of Segment ball valve body: the valve body is an integral side mounted structure with strong structural rigidity, which is not easy to cause deformation and leakage.
2. Upper and lower self-lubricating bearings: the valve body is equipped with upper and lower self-lubricating bearings, which have large contact area with the valve stem, high bearing capacity and small friction coefficient, reducing the torque of the valve.
3. The valve seat can choose metal hard seal or PTFE soft seal according to the needs of medium and working conditions: the sealing surface of metal hard seal valve seat is overlaid with cemented carbide, and the ball surface is plated with hard chromium or hardened by spray welding, ion nitriding, etc., so that the service life of the sealing surface is enhanced and the temperature resistance is improved; Soft sealing PTFE valve seat or reinforced PTFE valve seat has good sealing performance, corrosion resistance and wide application range.
4. Segment ball valve is economical and practical: the valve body is light, the valve rod torque is small, and the corresponding specification of the pneumatic or electric actuator is small. Compared with other types of regulating valves, it has high cost performance.
5. Wide application range of media: due to the shear force between the V-shaped opening and the valve seat, and the smooth and round flow path in the valve cavity, the media is not easy to accumulate in the cavity, so it is not only suitable for liquid media, but also more suitable for the system control of media with fibers and solid particles.
6. Small flow control of Segment ball valve: small CV value control can be realized by processing the special V-shaped opening of small-diameter valve core.
