Product description of Trunnion Ball Valve

The Trunnion fixed ball valve is suitable for long-distance pipelines and general industrial pipelines. Its strength, safety and resistance to harsh environment have been specially considered in the design, and it is suitable for all kinds of corrosive and non corrosive media. Compared with floating ball valve, when working, the force generated by the fluid pressure in front of the valve on the ball is transmitted to the bearing, which will not make the ball move to the valve seat, so the valve seat will not bear excessive pressure. Therefore, the fixed ball valve has small torque, small valve seat deformation, stable sealing performance and long service life. It is suitable for high-pressure and large-diameter occasions. The advanced spring pre seat assembly has self tightening characteristics to realize upstream sealing. Each valve has two seats, which can be sealed in each direction, so the installation has no flow restriction and is bidirectional. This valve is generally installed horizontally.

Features of Trunnion Ball Valve

1. Labor saving operation: the ball is supported by upper and lower bearings to reduce friction and eliminate excessive torque caused by the huge sealing load formed by the ball and the seal seat driven by the inlet pressure.

2. Reliable sealing performance: PTFE single material sealing ring is embedded in the stainless steel valve seat, and a spring is set at the end of the metal valve seat to ensure sufficient preload of the sealing ring. When the sealing surface of the valve is worn during use, the valve continues to ensure good sealing performance under the action of the spring.

3. Fire proof structure: in order to prevent the polytetrafluoroethylene seal ring from burning due to sudden heat or fire, causing large leakage, and contributing to the fire, a fire-proof seal ring is set between the ball and the valve seat. When the seal ring is burned, under the action of spring force, the valve seat seal ring is quickly pushed onto the ball to form a metal to metal seal, playing a certain degree of sealing effect. The fire resistance test meets the requirements of apl6fa and apl607 standards.

4. Automatic pressure relief function: when the stagnant medium pressure in the valve cavity rises abnormally and exceeds the pre force of the spring, the valve seat retreats from the ball to achieve the effect of automatic pressure relief, and the valve seat automatically resets after pressure relief

5. Drain pipeline: drain holes are set up at the top and bottom of the valve body to check whether the valve seat leaks. During operation, when the valve is fully open or closed, remove the pressure in the middle chamber and directly replace the packing; It can discharge the residue in the middle chamber and reduce the pollution of the medium to the valve.

Industrial applications of Trunnion Ball Valve
